Apprenticeship style training has been around for many years, and since 1992 the New Zealand Horticulture Industry Training Organisation (NZHITO) has been the place to go for horticulture training.
For an employer a horticulture apprenticeship is all about teaching someone about the business of being a horticulturist.
You get to pass on your knowledge in your specialist field of horticulture and help someone into a fulfilling career.
