This is an optional project that runs in conjunction with the NZ Horticulture ITO Young Horticulturist of the Year - 2007 Competition.

The Finalist of the NZ Horticulture ITO Young Horticulturist of the Year - 2007 Competition, are asked to attend a one day orientation workshop in September and then write a 10 page "Market Innovation Project" over a six week period of their own time. They are then asked to present their project to a panel of judges on Thursday the 8th of November 2007.

Last years AGMARDT project was a well received component of the overall competition and the judges look forward to seeing even more projects this year.

2nd Prize: $3,000

3rd Prize: $2,000

Consolation prizes of $500 for each successfully completed project
