The Nursery sector selects their finalist from the winner of their national competition, the Carann Young Achiever, who will go on to represent the Nursery sector at the NZ Horticulture ITO - Young Horticulturist of the Year - 2007 Competition.

The Nursery sector will be announcing the winner of their national competition at the combined LAINZ and NGIA conference in Nelson from 21-23rd June.

There will be a series of practical activities for the semi finalists to complete at the conference on Friday 22nd June.

Congratulations to Meredith Guy who won the nursery sector competition, and will now carry on to represent the Nursery sector at the National finals of the Young Horticulturist of the Year 2007 Competition in November. Meredith works for Pacific Bark/Pacificwide.
