The NZHITO is offering a two day course looking at working around electrical lines

Working around electrical lines
This course will cover working around electrical lines in an arboriculture situation.
The training day may include the following:
- preparation before working near electrical lines
- carrying out work around electrical lines
- emergency procedures
- elevated platform preparation and use
This course will assist people working towards the following unit standards: 17152, 17259
Note: people seeking credit for unit standards 17152 will need to have successfully completed unit standards 17151, 2774 and 2775, or demonstrate equivalent knowledge and skills in these areas.
