The NZHITO is offering a two day training course looking at introductory botany.

Introductory Botany
These training days will be looking at introductory botany, it is suitable for people with limited botany knowledge.
The training days may include the following:
- knowledge of plant structures and functions
- knowledge of plant processes (respiration, photosynthesis, water, nutrients, regeneration)
- environmental factors
- plant life cycles
- vegetative and fruit growth
- improving plant production and quality
This course will assist you with working towards unit standards such as: 22177, 22178, 22191.
