Production Horticulture
The NZHITO have recently added four new production horticulture unit standards at level 1 and 2.
The 4 new production horticulture level 1 and 2 unit standards are now registered on the NZQA framework and are available for use.
The new unit standards are;

23780: Undertake general garden maintenance, Level 1, Credit 5.

23781: Grow and pot up plants from stem cuttings, Level 2, Credit 5.

23782: Identify containers, materials, plants and tools used in plant propagation, Level 1, Credit 2.

23783: Grow and maintain plants in containers from seeds, Level 1, Credit 5.
